ANKARA – Turkish tanks moved into the Syrian town of Jarablus after series of Turkish airstrikes. Ankara says it won’t allow Syrian Kurds to fill the vacuum left by any departure of DAESH fighters.

KIEV – Russia has accused Ukraine of conducting two armed incursions into Crimea, which Moscow annexed in 2014. There have been violations of the truce Kiev and pro Russian separatists signed in 2015 that left portions of Donetsk and Luhansk in rebel hands.
