IDLIB – Twenty children and 50 adults were killed after a chemical attack in rebel held Idlib yesterday which the West blames on the regime in Damascus. Last week, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in a major departure from America’s position in the Syrian conflict said it was up to the Syrian people to decide whether President Bashar Al Assad should leave.
ALEPPO – Talks are still ongoing, Hezbollah say. Meanwhile, casualties were reported after rebels shelled villages close to Idlib province.
MOSCOW – Su – 34 and TU – 22M3 bombers are targeting daesh and al Nusra fighters in Aleppo,Idlib and Deir Zouher. This is the first time Russia has used a base outside Syria in the Syrian conflict. Russia is backing the regime of President Bashar Al Assad in this conflict along with Iran and China. America is backing the Free Syrian Army that includes the former al QAEDA group called al Nusra. Syria is attempting to wrestle back control of parts of Aleppo and Idlib from Daesh and al Nusra.

IDLIB – Air strikes hit the hospital in Maarat al Numan district of Idlib that is controlled by al Nusra fighters. Eight MSF staff are reported to be missing.
MUNICH – Ceasefire will come into place at the end of the week following talks in Germany. Syrian forces backed by Russian airpower and HEZBOLLAH fighters continue to make progress in Aleppo. ISIS hold Raqqa and al Nusra remain in Idlib.
