LONDON – David Cameron has admitted to profiting from his father’s offshore holdings in Panama based Mossack Fonseca. He, and his wife Samantha invested Β£12,497 in 1997 and made Β£31, 500 from the sale of the shares in Blairmore Holdings in January 2010. Cameron’s late father Ian, a wealthy stockbroker put money into Blairmore Holdings and did not pay tax.

The girls now aged 15 were given life terms with a minimum sentence of 15 years. Leeds Crown heard that Angela Wrightson, 39, was found semi naked in her Hartlepool home with more than a 100 injuries – 80 to her face in December 2014. She had suffered a five – hour ordeal at the hands of the girls who she had invited into her home after striking friendship over a period of months. She had been attacked by a shovel, TV and computer printer. Judge Mr JUSTICE Globe said the alcohol Wrightson had consumed may have numbed some of the pain but not all.

WALES, UKΒ – The future of Britain’s steel industry is in severe doubt after the PM effectivey ruled out nationalisation of the troubled Port Talbot plant in Wales. DavidΒ Cameron said there were no guarantees after TATA steel announced it would be putting its UK operation up for sale.Β TATA which says it’s losing Β£1M a day from it’s Port Talbot plant alone also has plants inΒ Rotherham, Corby and Shotton employing some 15, 000 people. Britain’sΒ steel industry has suffered from a glut of cheap Chinese steel on the market. Steel production makes up 1% of Britain’s manufacturing output and 0.1% of it’s economic output.

UK – MPs approve Chancellor George Osborne’s Budget by 35 votes – 310 to 275. The Chancellor announced that disability cuts would not go ahead following the resignation of Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith who said benefit cuts were political and were aimed at those who ‘won’t vote for us’.
