UN – Pakistan presented the resolution which calls on the UN Human rights chief to look at the impact of settlements in West Bank and Golan Heights. Pakistan said settlements violate international law. The US and Israel condemned the resolution which was passed 32 – 0.

BRUSSELS – Three men arrested following anti terror raid in MOLENBEEK suburb of Belgium. One was prime suspect Salah Abdeslam, 26, who is wanted in connection with the Paris attacks last year in which 130 were killed by DAESH extremists. Arrest of Salah made 450 metres from address where police believed he was located.

HEBRON – Ahmad Dawabshe looks at a picture of his mother, Riham,  6-month baby brother Ali and father who died after Israeli extremists torched their home in Hebron last year. Extremists had daubed the word ‘revenge’ on the wall of their home. No one has been jailed for attack which left Ahmad with 60% burns.

ISLAMABAD – Taliban say the US has boosted troop numbers, increased air strikes on residential areas and night raids attacks. It also said the US backed Afghan government had increased attacks on it’s fighters. The talks between the Afghan government, the US and Pakistan  in the Pakistani capital are aimed at ending the 15-year war.

HELMAND – With SANGIN overrun by TALIBAN fighters, Afghan forces have moved out of Musa Qala which leaves Kajaki and Greshk open. Helmand has seen some fierce fighting between US special forces and Taliban fighters, especially at Marjah.
