KABUL – At least three separate attacks in KABUL on Monday also caused six civilian casualties. THE Taliban now control more of Afghanistan than at any time since 9/11. 10,000 US troops are currently in Afghanistan backed by US air power.

The leading architect of the impeachment process against Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff now faces the prospect of being prosecuted for alleged corruption should he lose his seat at Congress and immunity from prosecution. The Lower House Speaker has been suspended after a committee voted to strip him of his seat. If the full house of the Lower House approves the move then all bets are off.
