The leading architect of the impeachment process against Brazil’s President Dilma Rousseff now faces the prospect of being prosecuted for alleged corruption should he lose his seat at Congress and immunity from prosecution. The Lower House Speaker has been suspended after a committee voted to strip him of his seat. If the full house of the Lower House approves the move then all bets are off.
