LONDON – Litvinenko’s murder was the result of animosity between PUTIN and himself, the report said. UK home secretary Theresa May condemned the act as a ‘blatant and unacceptable breach of international law.’ Russia says the report’s findings are politicised. The former Russian spy died aged 43 in 2006 after drinking poisoned tea. He had fled to London after becoming a fierce critic of PUTIN.
