BUENOS AIRES – Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri will go before a federal prosecutor to explain his finances. An investigation was opened into Macri after his name was mentioned in the Panama Papers scandal.

LONDON – David Cameron has admitted to profiting from his father’s offshore holdings in Panama based Mossack Fonseca. He, and his wife Samantha invested ยฃ12,497 in 1997 and made ยฃ31, 500 from the sale of the shares in Blairmore Holdings in January 2010. Cameron’s late father Ian, a wealthy stockbroker put money into Blairmore Holdings and did not pay tax.

WALES, UKย – The future of Britain’s steel industry is in severe doubt after the PM effectivey ruled out nationalisation of the troubled Port Talbot plant in Wales. Davidย Cameron said there were no guarantees after TATA steel announced it would be putting its UK operation up for sale.ย TATA which says it’s losing ยฃ1M a day from it’s Port Talbot plant alone also has plants inย Rotherham, Corby and Shotton employing some 15, 000 people. Britain’sย steel industry has suffered from a glut of cheap Chinese steel on the market. Steel production makes up 1% of Britain’s manufacturing output and 0.1% of it’s economic output.
