Wayne Rooney said West Ham fans ‘smashed up’ Manchester UNITED’S  bus on it’s way to Upton Park. UNITED were late for the game – the second time they have done so to a game this season. United needed to win this game and their last to take the coveted fourth position and Champions League spot from Manchester City. This was the last game at the famed Upton Park.

DACCA – Motiur Rahman Nizami was executed early today after the failure of his second appeal. He is fourth and most senior member of Jamaat e Islami to be executed by Bangladesh for ‘war crimes’ – the validity of which has been questioned by outside observers.

ACTING SPEAKER of Lower House has stopped the impeachment process going to the Senate. Waldir Maranhoa was acting speaker because the previous speaker Eduardo Cunha (pictured below) who was one of the prominent movers behind the impeachment was arrested for corruption. Dilma Rousseff said Eduardo and Michel Temer vice president were attempting a coup. No one knows whether this is an end to the impeachment against the socialist President.
