FALAH Abu Maria had run down the stairs of his home to see what was happening after Israeli troops stormed his home to look for his son in the village of Beit Omar in occupied Hebron. He was shot three times in the chest at close range. His 22-year-old son was shot in the legs.

NEW YORK – UN security council voted in favour of the nuclear signed by Tehran and 6 World powers. Iran responded to criticism from US ambassador Samantha Power who said Tehran should stop supporting ‘terror proxies’ and release US prisoners. Iran accused Washington of invading two countries in the region which had created the conditions that bred extremism and terrorism. As a result, Iran said, the USΒ was in no place to lecture Tehran.

LONDON – THE CHANCELLOR said Labour’s acting leader had taken ‘a step forward’ in recognising why her party had lost the general election.
Harriet Harman had ordered Labour MPs to not oppose the government’s welfare bill that included limiting child tax credits to two children – a stance that was criticised by three of the party’sΒ leadership candidates as well as a growing number of Labour MPs.
