Turkey backs Gulf campaign in Yemen #YemenCrisis

YEMEN – Turkey said it backed Saudi airstrikes against advancing Houthi rebels, and warned Iran to stay out of Yemen. In a statement, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Emirates said the action was designed to protect Yemen and prevent the region becoming ‘a tool of foreign powers’.

PICTURE ANDREAS LUBITZ, 28, named by French prosecutor as the co-pilot who ‘deliberately’ plunged A320 into the French Alps. He had, the prosecutor said, intended to ‘destroy’ the plane.

French prosecutor would not say whether the pilot who had plunged the German airbus into the French alps had committed suicide. The co pilot had ‘deliberately’ started the descent after locking out the pilot who had just left the cockpit – official said. German government say the man named Andreas Lubitz ,28, didn’t have a ‘terrorist background. ‘
