WEST BANK – 16-year-old was killed after throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.Β Israel’s occupation of West Bank, East JerusalemΒ and Gaza is illegal under international law.
WEST BANK – Israel says they were trying to stab soldiers at a checkpoint. 146 Palestinians have now been killed by Israel since October 1. Israel says they are mainly attackers. Israel’s occupation of West Bank, as well as Gaza and East Jerusalem is illegal.
LEBANON – Israel has shelled small Lebanese town of Wazzani in response to attack on patrol. Hezbollah had promised a response to the assassination of Samir Kantar which the Lebanese group blamed on Tel Aviv.
HEBRON – Israel says they were all attackers. 138 Palestinians have been killed since October 1. The latest Shadi Ghabish, 38, died as a bullets were removed from his body on Friday at Ramallah. He was wounded during protests on December 8. The UN says 170 Palestinians were killed in 2015.
HEBRON – AHMAD, 5, is the surviving member of the Dawabshe family whose house was torched by Israeli settlers. His baby brother Ali, father and mother died in the attack. No one has stood trial. Israeli settlers were shown burning Ali’s picture in a video.
ABOVEΒ – This is the first picture of Uday, 22, who was killed during protests over Israel’s occupation and settlement programme in Palestine. His sister Dania was killed by Israel on her way back from school a month earlier. Gaza remains surrounded by Israel’s military. At least 120 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since October 1.
JERUSALEM – Israel has released the body of schoolgirl Hadeel Awaad, 14, who was shot dead by an Israeli policeman on November 22. Her cousin Norhan, 16, who was wounded has been charged with attempted murder. They lived in Qalandia Refugee camp in Ramallah.Β Hadeel’s brother was killed by Israel during protests two years earlier. Israel says they were attacking a man they thought was an Israeli with scissors. Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza is illegal under international law. Israel’s military and armed settlers continue to operate without any international condemnation, whilst Palestinians continue to suffer under the daily humiliation of occupation.
