Syria says it doesn’t need Jordan’s help in battling ISIS

SYRIA, Damascus – Jordan’s airstrikes against ISIS are thought to be in Raqqa, Syria, in response to the ‘burning’ of its pilot. But Damascus criticised the violation of its sovereignty and said it did not need any ground troops on its territory to battle the group it calls daesh.

JORDAN, Amman – UAE is to join the bombing campaign against ISIS. Jordan says it has hit ISIS targets with 56 air strikes in three days in response to a video showing the ‘burning alive’ of its held pilot which was thought to have been filmed on January 3. Jordan is thought to have struck targets in Raqqa, Syria.

JORDAN, Amman – Sajida al Rishawi was one of the two people executed by Jordanian authorities in response to the ‘burning’ video released by ISIS of Jordanian pilot, Moaz al Kasasbeh.
