BRUSSELS – Mohamed Abrini was arrested by Belgian authorities in connection with November’s Paris attacks. Belgian media says he is connected to last month’s Brussels attacks. He is believed to be the ‘man in hat’ pictured with the suicide bombers who targeted Brussels airport. Abrini,31, is believed to be the man pictured with Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam at a petrol station.

BUENOS AIRES – Argentina’s President  Mauricio Macri will go before a federal prosecutor to explain his finances. An investigation was opened into Macri after his name was mentioned in the Panama Papers scandal.

LONDON – David Cameron has admitted to profiting from his father’s offshore holdings in Panama based Mossack Fonseca. He, and his wife Samantha invested £12,497 in 1997 and made £31, 500 from the sale of the shares in Blairmore Holdings in January 2010. Cameron’s late father Ian, a wealthy stockbroker put money into Blairmore Holdings and did not pay tax.

BRASILIA has seen more protests calling for the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff – one of the figures leading ‘the fight against corruption’ is Speaker of lower house of Congress EDUARDO CUNHA himself embroiled in the ‘Petrobras Oil scandal’ and now named in the Panama Papers. CUNHA, the leaks claim, owned 14 offshore companies in the British Virginia Islands between 2003 – 2011. BRAZIL’S economy has suffered from falling commodity prices.
