JERUSALEM – Settler Yosef Haim Ben David, 31, had claimed he was mentally ill, however an Israeli court ruled he was sane and will sentence him next month. Mohammed Abu Khdeir,15, was kidnapped from east Jerusalem St and found dead in July 2014. He had been burned alive. Two other men have been sentenced to life and twenty years for the killing. Mohammed Abu Khdeir’s murder was followed by the assault on Gaza by Israel which resulted in over 2,100 deaths – including at least 551 children. Some 201 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since October 1 in the latest round of violence in the West Bank.
