BRASILIA – Dilma Rousseff has lost lower house impeachment vote by more than two thirds which means the upper House, the Congress will now decide whether to suspend her and put the Brazilian President on trial. The ‘yes’ campaign got 367 votes whilst the ‘no’ 167. She is accused of doctoring economic data to help her reelection in 2014 – charges she denies. Rousseff has accused the opposition of attempting a coup and is confident that Congress will dismiss all charges.
