Not quite so sanguine now that there will be no shooting in Ukraine. If Ukrainians hold out in their barracks, what then? Is Russia prepared for a full-scale invasion? Probably not, given possible Western reaction. The pattern from Georgia suggests Russia will secure Crimea and then stop. Interesting question: where are the nearest US naval units? There are usually some in the Mediterranean. Have they transited through the Bosphorus into the Black Sea yet?
