GREECE, Athens – Greece can not service its debt of 323bn Euros and requires a bridging loan instead of a bailout – PM Alexis Tsipras told Greek Parliament today. EU officials have rejected attempts by the leader of the left wing Syriza party to renegotiate terms of the bail out. Greece’s debt stands at 174% of total economic output. The current programme of loans to Athens ends on February 28.
