FRANCE – Despite coming third in this year’s regional elections, Front Nationale won more votes than when Marine Le Pen ran for President in 2012. Nationwide, Nicolas Sarkovy’s Conservatives won 40.2%, Hollande’s Socialists 28.9% with Front Nationale not winning a single region on 27.1%.
This was FRANCE’S first election since the Paris attacks.
