LONDON – Chelsea have appointed the 46-year-old Italy boss as head coach to replace interim coach GUUS HIDDINK, who was drafted in by CHELSEA’S owner Roman Abramovich as a stand in following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho. Chelsea have had a disastrous season and will struggle to get a place in the  Europa CUP.
