Brazil”s national truth commission found illegal arrests, torture, executions and forced disappearances were performed by state agents employed during the country’s military rule
More than 400 people were killed or disappeared from 1964 to 1985 – whilst many were arrested and tortured, including current President Dilma Rousseff.
210 bodies of the 410 names listed killed during this period have never been found.
