LARNACA – Ben Innes, 26, from Leeds was one of the hostages held by Seif eldin Mustafa who claimed to be wearing a suicide belt on the EgyptAir plane that was diverted to Larnaca yesterday. Mustafa was later revealed to be wearing a fake vest and had been motivated by personal issue involving a woman and not terrorism. Innes said he didn’t know why he posed for the picture but figured there was nothing to lose since he had assumed the belt was real.
