SYRIA, Damascus – President Assad says his government gets general information from a third party ‘usually Iraq’ about coalition air strikes inside Syria. He told BBC News that he would not be part of the anti-ISIS coalition which holds territory in Syria and Iraq because he wasn’t a ‘puppet’. Assad also denied using barrel bombs during the conflict with in Syria which is now in its fifth year.
